Back in the early days, we saw firsthand how property management was often reactive, impersonal, and frustrating — both for owners and residents. We noticed landlords juggling it all without the systems, support, or legal knowledge they needed. And residents? Often left waiting days for a response or maintenance solution.

So, we asked ourselves:

What if we built something different?

What if we created a company that led with systems, empathy, and service — not just leases and late fees?

That question sparked the vision for HBR Rentals.

From the very beginning, we wanted to be more than just a management company — we wanted to be a trusted partner. One that owners could count on to protect their investments, and that residents could rely on to feel respected, heard, and cared for in their homes.

We started small — just a few homes and a handful of clients who believed in us. But we grew with intention. We put systems in place. We built a team with heart. We aligned with national leaders like NARPM and committed ourselves to compliance, education, and excellence.

And as we grew, so did our vision.

Today, we’re proud to manage over 290 doors across Northern California. While our roots remain strong in Mountain House and Tracy, we’ve expanded into the East Bay, now serving property owners in Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, and San Ramon.
