What is the procedure for applying for occupancy?
You should schedule an appointment via the instructions on the advertising (no properties will be leased sight-unseen).
Once you have viewed the property, you will have the opportunity to:- Complete the application online
- Pay the non-refundable application fee
- Sign the one (1) year lease (terms are dependent on the property)
- Pay the security deposit
- Sign all applicable addendums.
All paperwork must be completed and signed before you will be eligible to apply for a location.
Once the screening results are returned and all required paperwork is completed, HBR Rentals Property Management will contact you regarding the status of your application.

What happens once we are approved?
You will receive an email with instructions on how to schedule your move in appointment and how to make your initial move cost payment with certified funds. -
What is the amount of the security deposit and when is it due?
The security deposit can be up to one (1) month rent, and is due at the time of lease signing. -
What happens during the move-in inspection?
- After the approval process, you will schedule a virtual meeting with a member of the HBR team.
- During this meeting, we will review the 'self-move-in process' with you to ensure you understand the procedure and clear up any questions.

Where do I call for utilities?
We provide a FREE concierge service through Citizen Home Solutions for utility activation to make your move more comfortable than ever! You can access this benefit here. -
Who is responsible for maintenance of the property?
Your lease will show what maintenance is your responsibility, so please refer to your signed lease agreement. -
What is the lease term?
All lease agreements are one (1) year leases unless otherwise noted. -
What is the pet policy?
Each property will note if a Pet is allowed. Each property must complete the PetScreeing profile with application and renewed each year thereafter.
